The Venue (11)

Location
The venue, a 16th century town house, is located in the Lawnmarket which is at the top of the Royal Mile, enroute to the Castle.
The Spaces
There are two spaces for performance at Diverse Attractions:
- Theatre – 80 seat space located on the ground floor. (Max 20 company members)
- Studio - 32 seat space located on 1st floor in large, panelled drawing room. Suitable for small scale productions (max 8 company members). Unsuitable for amplified or technically complex shows.
Two-hour time slots run in both spaces, Mon to Sat inclusive, from 11.00 hrs to 21.00 hrs. The venue closes at 23.00 hrs.
Technical rehearsals for the following week’s performances are held on Sundays and the venue is therefore closed to the public.
Access
Disabled access is available to the ground floor only (Theatre). No wheelchair access is available to the 1st floor (Studio).
The Staff
Diverse Attractions is staffed during the Fringe by a team of Duty Managers, a Technical Manager, Technical Assistant, Box Office and Front of House Staff.
Box Office
The box office at Diverse Attractions is open from 10.30 hrs to 21.30 hrs during the Fringe.
